Map the components before the stack
A computer is a meeting place for different hardware paths, not one universal interface. The computer is not one path. Compatibility and versioning pages explain how identity, scope, and version fields describe a record. The computer-printer page marks a boundary: a computer can expose a printer path, but printer queues and renderers belong to the peripheral relationship rather than to every computer component.
Input pages follow keyboard and mouse identity, reports, class behavior, and vendor-specific extensions. USB pages add host, hub, device, interface, endpoint, and transfer vocabulary. Treat change as several relationships
Update-lifecycle, system-update, package-replacement, and rollback pages describe candidate records, selection, staging, activation, retained metadata, and earlier associations. A new version can exist as a candidate without being the active relationship. A rollback can name an earlier record without restoring every component or state in the computer.
Updater-tools and automatic-updater pages explain catalogs, matching, vendor bundles, inputs, and trust metadata as roles. They do not make one updater responsible for every component. The update terminology pages keep “update” precise: it can describe a record transition, a published version, or a changed association, depending on its owner.
Cross the buses without merging functions
Audio update pages connect endpoints, timed buffers, transport layers, and sound components. Network-adapter and Wi-Fi pages connect radios, firmware, interfaces, links, protocols, and host metadata. Timing and ownership differ. USB and input pages share structural vocabulary with them, yet an audio stream and a network link do different work.

Then choose the narrower family page. That difference is material. Ownership matters here. Paths remain distinct.
