How vendor distribution, package provenance, signing, and compatibility metadata are represented without download links.

Distribution is provenance
A company distribution record identifies who publishes a package, which product or model family it describes, and which platform or architecture it targets. Distribution provenance is different from a download action and different from the printer’s physical availability.
Package evidence
Useful evidence includes package name, version, publisher, signing or catalog relationship, release notes, model scope, and declared interfaces. These fields let a reader distinguish one HP package record from another without relying on search-result wording.
Host policy and trust
The host can apply package-signing and policy rules before associating a component with a printer. Trust metadata concerns software provenance and integrity; it does not guarantee feature completeness or a successful print path.
Official documentation boundary
HP documentation and Microsoft Learn describe publisher, package, and host concepts. This page intentionally provides no distribution link, download CTA, date claim, or current-availability promise.

Questions and answers
Does a company-published package guarantee compatibility?
No. Publisher identity is one evidence field; model, platform, architecture, interface, and declared support also matter.
Why does this page avoid a driver link?
The library describes provenance and package identity rather than hosting or directing readers to downloads.
